Richard Carling

Director

As the major shareholder and being the sole director of Intas Insurance Services, Richard now focuses his attention on the strategic direction, growth and oversight of the business.

He is integral part of the management team ensuring Intas Insurance Services maintains the service standards that our customers deserve and expect.

Richard holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking) & is a Senior Associate and Certified Insurance Professional with the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF).

Todd Daking

General Manager

Todd joined the Intas team in January 2015 with a wealth of life experience after spending over 5 years in the Commercial Real Estate industry and a further 5 years as a small business owner, all here in Launceston. Todd holds a Diploma in Financial Services (Insurance Broking) obtained through Gold Seal Practice Management and is a member of ANZIIF (Australia and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance. Todd is the Manager of the General Insurance Division of the Intas Group, demonstrating his ability learn and develop his skills, whilst leading the team of Account managers and support staff.

Todd is well equipped to assist new and existing clients with all of their general insurance needs, specialising in all classes of insurance, including Farm Insurance, Business Insurance, Liability Insurance, Motor Vehicle Insurance and Workers Compensation to name a few. Todd prides himself on his professionalism and superior level of customer service, which we believe will not only be an asset to Intas but all of his customers too.

Whilst not working Todd enjoys travelling, playing golf & going to the gym and spending time with his friends and family, & his three young boys!

Callum Woolley

Senior Account Manager

With over 25 years experience in the insurance industry, both in Tasmania and interstate, Callum has the knowledge and skills to assist you with any of your business or personal insurance needs. Callum prides himself on his professionalism and ability to provide a superior level of service to all his clients enabling him to explain all facets of a comprehensive Insurance program. Callum holds a Diploma of Business (General Insurance) and is a Senior Associate and Certified Insurance Professional with the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF).

Callum specialises in all classes of insurance, including Farm Insurance, Business Insurance, Liability Insurance, Motor Vehicle Insurance and Workers Compensation to name a few, & is regularly servicing most areas of the state.

Whilst not working, Callum enjoys being active in the community and spending quality time with his family and friends.

Darren Edmunds

Senior Account Manager

With over 4 years as an underwriter and over 25 years as an insurance broker Darren is the person to talk to regarding any of your business insurance requirements. As with all staff at Intas Darren’s integrity and professionalism are second to none, as is his willingness to help his customers fully understand their options and obligations regarding both their business and personal insurances. In addition to this Darren holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking) and is a Senior Associate & Certified Insurance Professional with the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF).

Darren specialises in all classes of insurance, including but not limited to Business Insurance, Farm Insurance, Liability Insurance and Workers' Compensation Insurance.

When not working Darren enjoys spending time with his family, football, athletics and socialising with friends.

Will Homan

Compliance Officer

With over 20 years experience within the financial services industry, with 5 of those running Intas Financial Services, Will has the knowledge, enthusiasm and skills required to manage a successful financial services business.

Will holds a Bachelor of Commerce, a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment. He is a member of the Association of Financial Advisers and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.

Whilst not working, Will enjoys cycling, freshwater fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

Dane Jessup

Senior Account Manager

With over 16 years of experience in the insurance industry, Dane has the knowledge and skills to assist you with any of your business or personal insurance needs. Dane prides himself on his professionalism and ability to provide a superior level of service to all his clients enabling him to explain all facets of a comprehensive Insurance program. In addition to this Dane holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking)

Dane specialises in all classes of insurance, including Transport, Business, Farm, Liability, Motor, Workers Compensation, Management Liability & Professional Indemnity to name a few.

Away from work Dane enjoys spending time with his family and friends and time away on the East Coast of Tasmania fishing and mountain biking.

Lachlan Clark

Account Manager

Lachlan joined us in 2022. With over 4 years’ experience within a local retail supervisor role he has experience in and around a small business and understands the ins and outs of what they require to be operational. Being in that industry he also understands what good customer service looks like and prides himself on delivering exceptional service.

As one of our younger account managers, Lachlan is eager to explore opportunities to help with all insurance needs such as Farm Insurance, Business Insurance, Liability Insurance, Motor Vehicle Insurance and Workers Compensation to name a few.

Whilst not working, Lachlan enjoys being a goalkeeper for Launceston City in the NPL Tasmania and also spending time with friends and family.

Amber Gale

Claims Manager

Amber joined the Intas team in January 2013. Amber has had over 10 years experience in providing great customer service with her time here at Intas. Amber is always willing to help and is a very enthusiastic member of the Intas team always endeavouring to assist in anyway she can. If she can not directly assist you she will gladly find one of our other friendly staff who can.

Amber heads up our Claims Team & has completed her Diploma of Insurance Broking and Certificate III in Business Administration which places her in good stead for her current role here at Intas.

In her spare time Amber enjoys travelling, language studies, sewing and spending time with her friends & family.

Jeanie Stokell

Assistant Account Manager

Jeanie has come from a banking, finance and insurance background, having spent 11 years in the Banking & Finance sector and 14 years in General Insurance.

Jeanie has fulfilled many varied roles including reception, credit control, underwriting, claims, office management.

Jeanie works on a part time basis as she is also involved in the family business. Jeanie’s main role at Intas is claims management and assisting Account Managers in any way she can. Great customer service and getting best results and outcomes drives her daily work.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping, reading, travelling, and supporting her three adult children and husband.

Jeanie also has a small hobby farm keeping her busy with sheep, chooks, a mischievous Golden Retriever Ben and her daughter’s pug – Doug.

Tracy Smee

Assistant Account Manager

Tracy joined Intas in March 2021. Prior to commencing with Intas, Tracy worked at Allianz as a Case Manager in Workers Compensation. Tracy has also worked in the Motor Industry for 28 years in the positions of General Sales Manager, New Car Manager and Fleet Sales Manager. In these positions Tracy was responsible for sales performance and customer service in line with manufacturer expectations

Tracy has a high level of motivation to undertake new challenges and to exceed the expectations of her clients.

Over the years Tracy built many relationships with businesses and customers in Tasmania. These relationships have continued since Tracy’s commencement with Intas.

Tracy is a keen horse rider and is currently competing in Endurance riding, Tracy also likes to bushwalk and has successfully hiked the Kokoda track & has trekked up to Mt Everest base camp.

Michelle Brain

Assistant Account Manager

Michelle joined Intas in 2021 after 15 years in customer service and management.

Michelle continues to provide exceptional customer service to our clients, putting her experience to good use. While at Intas she has covered a variety of roles, including
receptionist, claims assistant, and now assistant account manager, where her primary role is assisting senior account managers to deliver the best possible service and results for our clients.

Michelle is a friendly, genuine, and always a willing Intas team member who is prepared to help in any way she can.

Michelle recently completed her Tier 1 in insurance broking and is currently completing her Certificate 3 in business.

Outside of work, Michelle and her husband love spending quality time with their three adult children and their partners, including regular family dinners, day trips, weekends, and holidays together. Michelle also enjoys spending time in the kitchen cooking, relaxing at her family's east coast shack, catching up with friends for coffee, and enjoying a good glass of wine.

Levi Carling

Account Manager

Starting at Intas in May 2022 Levi has quickly become an essential part of the Intas team and our youngest Account Manager. His determination to learn and develop is shown in his personalised and professional customer service. With a focus on customer satisfaction, Levi goes the extra mile to cater to your business and personal insurance requirements.

Levi has gained experience in all classes of insurance, including Domestic, Business, Liability, Motor & Worker’s Compensation while assisting his own clients and other Senior Account Managers. Having also worked heavily in the claims department he can confidentially help you navigate your claims to achieve the best outcome every time.

While away from work Levi enjoys going to the gym, playing golf and spending quality time with his friends & family.

Montana Wakeford

Assistant Account Manager

Montana joined the Intas team in December 2021. Montana has had over 5 years’ experience in providing great customer service via her time here at Intas and her previous part time employment. Montana is always willing to lend a helping hand and is a very enthusiastic member of the Intas team.

Montana is currently undertaking her Certificate III in Business Administration and Tier 1 in Insurance Broking which places her in good stead for her current role here at Intas.

Outside of work, Montana enjoys spending time with her friends, family & much loved Guinea Pigs.

Tom Crack

Assistant Account Manager

Tom started his journey here at InTas in October of 2022

Working in our claims team Tom strives to provide excellent service in the most efficient way possible to resolve any claims that come through our office.

Tom has worked in customer service roles since graduating college and he has brought this knowledge over to his role here at InTas.

In his free time Tom enjoys playing golf with friends, going to the gym and playing guitar.

Nick Homan

Assistant Account Manager

Nick joined Intas in June 2023. Prior to commencing with Intas, Nick worked as an accountant for 3 years.

Nick has a high level of motivation to undertake new challenges and to exceed the expectations of his clients.

Outside of work, Nick enjoys playing football, socialising with friends and spending time with family.

Elise Terry

Assistant Account Manager

Elise joined the Intas team in November 2022. Prior to commencing with Intas Elise was in a management role in the hospitality industry. Elise has also held administration and sales roles, with customer service being her key focus.

Elise has a high level of motivation to undertake new challenges and seeks further learning opportunities to exceed the expectations of clients. Elise is currently undertaking her Tier 1 in Insurance Broking which places her in good stead for her current role here at Intas.

In her spare time Elise enjoys spending time with her family and friends, learning the French language, reading and cooking.
